Requests for functional and compliance modifications come to us for various reasons. The one thing they all have in common is that the equipment in question doesn't do what it should be doing.

The owners of the reflow oven above had a different problem - whenever a board got stuck inside, it quickly turned to ashes. A simple modification and an additional controller took care of that problem for less than AU$500.

One importer had approached us with a cargo of phones shipped in from overseas (under some very 'enticing' terms), and required every single phone to be modified to comply with the Australian telecommunications regulations. After a simple operation, the phones were certified and all sold.

Another client required thousands of car alarms to be modified. Some, to change their functionality (such as adding a remote control module), some to comply with noise pollution regulations (cutting down the siren time).

In a similar scenario, another manufacturer had a chain of conveyor belts that never talked to one another (different brands). When one accidentally stopped , the others kept on running, causing goods to fall off, jam another parts, and create a messy situation that cost a lot of time and nerves. A Danalog custom interface control fixed the problem for good.
